Lou Porrazzo is Vice President of National Accounts and Compliance Counsel for ExamWorks Compliance Solutions.  He is a highly-regarded communicator in all aspects of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance and has spoken and written extensively on the topic throughout the United States. Lou is an attorney licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with expertise in MSP compliance, along with Workers’ Compensation and Liability Insurance defense.  Lou earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Economics from Stonehill College and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. He is the Chair of the Kids’ Chance of Massachusetts Golf Committee and a CrossFit Level 2 Certified Trainer.

Brad

Brad James

Vice President, National Accounts

Brad James, VP of National Accounts for ExamWorks Compliance Solutions, acts as an industry consultant for our clients and the national claim industry. Brad has over 30 years experience and offers ECS clients comprehensive experience in Claim Management Programs and the impact of Medicare Compliance Regulations. The last 15 years, his primary focus has been on a suite of efficiencies to assist carriers and national employers with their claim programs to limit the financial impact of Medicare Issues faced by the claim industry today. Prior to joining ExamWorks Compliance Solutions, Mr. James worked more than a decade with two Third Party Administrators. Besides sales and account management, Brad’s areas of focus were contract negotiation and claims management for associations and carriers. Brad graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University and is certified as a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant (MSCC). Brad is based out of both Columbus, Ohio and Naples, FL.

Chris

Christopher Ploszay

Vice President, National Accounts

Chris has worked in the Medicare Compliance field since 2005. Chris started with Gould & Lamb as a Regional Director of Sales covering the East Coast from Maryland to Maine. In 2010 Chris was promoted to the National Accounts Vice President role at Gould & Lamb.  In 2014 Exam Works purchased Gould & Lamb and Chris stayed on as the Vice President of National Accounts a position he still holds at Exam Works Compliance Solutions.   Chris previously worked for Liberty Mutual and OneBeacon Insurance handling catastrophic Workers Compensation cases. He is an undergraduate of Providence College in 1997 and also earned his Law Degree from Quinnipiac School of Law in 2001.

Michelle

Michelle Andjus

National Account Manager

Michelle Andjus has been a National Account Manager since 2012. Michelle is a liaison between insurance carriers and TPA vendors and the ExamWorks and ECS sales and operations teams. She works to ensure that all contractual services and obligations are met and clients are satisfied. Between 2007 and 2012, she was in account management and sales at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Prior to working at Pfizer, Michelle worked as an account manager at HealthDrive, which provides onsite healthcare to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She began her career in the IME industry as an account executive for BMEGateway. Michelle received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Neha Pellegrino, Esq.

Senior MSP Compliance Counsel

Neha is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance, workers’ compensation claims, and client advocacy. She began her legal career in compliance in 2010 and has since gained deep expertise in the field, developing a strong track record of delivering strategic solutions that optimize claim outcomes. Before joining ExamWorks Compliance Solutions, Neha served as an Associate Attorney at Sanderson Firm PLLC as well as Assistant Director of Services at Verisk Analytics, where she played a key role in guiding clients through a range of MSP procedures. Known for her client-centered approach, Neha excels at understanding the unique needs of each claim and providing tailored compliance strategies. Neha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Michael Flower

Michael Flower, Esq., MSCC

Senior MSP Compliance Counsel

Michael Flower is ECS' Senior Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Compliance Counsel. Michael is involved with legal, regulatory, and compliance oversight of MSP services provided including MSP settlement language, Mandatory Insurer Reporting (MIR), ICD injury code reporting, Conditional Payment Resolution, Medicare Set-Aside Allocations (MSA), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) approval, complex cases and training. Michael routinely communicates with CMS and its contractors with regard to MSAs, conditional payments and Section 111 reporting. Michael works closely with insurers, TPAs, excess carriers and self-insured employers of various sizes to establish best practices for MSP compliance.  Michael also regularly speaks as a subject matter expert at conferences, client trainings and continuing education courses. Michael has specialized in MSP compliance since 2014. His prior experience as a workers’ compensation attorney with Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetek and Pikala (ACKSP), P.A. in Minnesota allowed him to work closely with insurance adjusters, gain litigation experience, draft appeals for appellate and state Supreme Court matters, and speak on related topics. Michael then worked for Optum, specializing exclusively in MSP compliance in 2016. Optum’s MSP compliance services was then acquired by ExamWorks Compliance Solutions in 2024. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in business and marketing from Bethel University and his J.D. from Hamline University.

Patti Strang

Patricia Strang, Esq., R.N., MSCC

Senior MSP Compliance Counsel

Patricia Strang joined ExamWorks Compliance Solutions in 2011 as a Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Compliance Counsel. In this role, Patricia combines her extensive medical and legal backgrounds to assist adjusters and attorneys with navigation through the MSP in their settlements. Patricia is a frequent speaker in all areas of MSP compliance nationwide and has been recognized as a Medicare Compliance expert in federal courts. Patricia is a graduate of Stetson College of Law and holds Florida nursing and law licenses.
